Wow,

I was really lucky when I put $20 premium there last week when they had no super. I normally fill my tank.

Warning duly noted.

Epic lulz at changing IP of oil filter

The one by Valpark Shopping Plaza. I have stopped taking fuel from there since the early 1990s for the same reason.

People, you all should only fill up at newer stations or old stations that you know that have recently changed their unground storage tanks.
Also DEALER OWNED stations are known to rig their pumps so more $$$/lt.
Trust me it happened with me.

Dam. I normally full up at whatever gas station is available and never had a problem till last week when i went Valpark (I fulling up at valpark years now, maybe i was just lucky). Full up and by the time i get back on the h/way car stuttering at high rpms.

Now I know I have to be selective about gas stations.

AFAIK, the Ministry of Energy has people who audit gas station pumps by going around and checking against a known volume. I'm not sure what tolerance they use/allow the meters to be off by but it should not be much.

Also at 99%of dealer owned stations, the marketing company owns, and exclusively maintains tanks and pumps.
So then singling out of dealer owned stations is baseless.

And Bureau of Standards also runs their checks as well

A truly informative, fustrating, humorous and difficult to navigate thread.
The observation about super vs unleaded was shockingly unenlightened and reflects poorly on tuners.
