^ I'm confused because if SR is correct, how can Ali simply "hand over" the keys to another group? Was the contract for Camden issued to Ali and him only or to TTASA with him being the officer in charge? That's like Kamla losing the next elections and she taking back all the things that were acquired under her leadership
If TTASA is made up of a board of trustees, I can't see how they would be so stupid to allow Ali to simply give away the club's assets because he plans to resign.. unless the Camden contract was seeked out by Ali without any involvement of TTASA

As far as I know the use of Camden was granted to the NGB which is TTASA - Ali signed for it as President.

This is my understanding.

Even if he gives back the keys, the next TTASA president can go and collect it and open Camden again.

Duane my point exactly

On another note. In the interview with Ali, he said that he was operating within the guild lines of FIA etc. but, my question is- Is Camden FIA approved? There's absolutely no problem with running TTASA according to the rules imposed by FIA, but if we are being governed by the rule books, don't you think we should be following ALL the rules and not some? I hope we do see a follow up interview with the british fella WRT why is it that some forms of motorsports in Trinidad have suffered throughout the years. It would be interesting to hear what Ali have to say

^ He answered it already - he said the other clubs "failed" because were not following the FIA and were not willing to fall in line and join TTASA.

AFAIK Land Management extended the lease to TTASA for Camden until July 2013. However I believe Land Management can give TTASA 2 weeks notice at any time and rescind the lease agreement at any time they wish. Not that they have ever done that in the past 2½ years.
