Heard a story that he bought land somewhere where he wanted the hiway to pass and he was protesting because he will be broke if the hiway doesn't pass and he get back his money.

not near regular, i've been in traffic on the creek; when it floods it's another story but why not direct full resources at the highway for faster completion etc etc.
