The appellant claims in the New York sourt matter that Piper was incapacitated and made several large withdrawals which were 'uncharacteristic' of his normal practices, and said he may have been the victim of elder financial abuse, exploitation and fraud.............it seems it's more than the apartment? ??

To be fair, this case we have to wait on the verdict.

I know of persons who will give a share or piece of property to a close friend of 20, 30 or even 40+ years but some member or members of the family hears that and cause bacchanal because of greed. Most times, the person who gave will become afraid of being abandoned by family as he/she depends on them. There is also the fear of family discord at an age where he/she wants peace and doesn't have the strength to stand by their decision.

In an effort to calm things down and not loose your dependency, unfortunately you damage a friendship by changing your mind from the original position.

Family coercion is a hell of thing when your are a senior citizen.

Cuz no one could be bothered to pay 3 bucks and get an express to see the whole story. They relying on the part stories on the online site.

The case isn't finished. And if the old dude could convince the judge the decision wasn't of sound mind, it will be reversed.

But the old dude saying that he gave no permission at all, so it would result in fraud.

Its up to dillions lawyers to show where the old dude was aware, gave permission, and now changing his mind.
