Snapture has now released version 2.0 of its iPhone camera app, which now allows users to take photos using all the major features of a digital camera. Snapture 2.0 now has four different color modes, multitouch gesture zoom, delay timer, and a new clean user interface. Most notably, Snapture's new QuickView system allows users to view and delete recent pictures directly on the viewfinder– a feature that cuts the average photo
taking session in half.

April's release of Snapture 1.4 was a big success – helping over 400,000 camera enthusiasts from all over the world to take better, more sophisticated pictures on their iPhone. Snapture version 2.0 takes iPhone photography to the next level – and incorporates much of the feedback received from its fan base. The new free ad-supported version builds on the popular features of its first release (easy photo capture, multishot, delay timer, level, etc), but also adds a new clean user-interface, multi-touch gesture zoom, and new color modes like sepia and negative.

But the real story is in Snapture's new QuickView System – which is a true game changer in mobile photography. The QuickView System allows users to view, enlarge and delete recent pictures directly on the viewfinder. This cuts the average photo taking session in half, by saving the hassle of having to exit the camera app and enter Camera Roll when users want to see or delete a recent picture. QuickView is available only on Snapture Premium, and can be enabled for $7.99 US.

Snapture is available in 9 different languages, and requires a jailbroken original or 3G iPhone. The app can be downloaded via Installer.app (under Utilities) or Cydia.

List of features: http://www.snapturelabs.com/features.html

Digg founder Kevin Rose has posted a blog entry providing information on a revamp of the entire iPod line, price drops and new iPod/iPhone firmware.

Latest rumors:
- Revamp of entire iPod line.
- Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see pic below).
- iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone.
- iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after.
- iTunes 8.0 ("it's a big update w/new features").
- All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.

The new iPod Nano?

Pwnage 2.0.3 Released
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1734

The newest version of Pwnage has been released, just under an hour ago. It supports the new 2.0.2 firmeware, which fixes a lot of the edge/3G issues.

PwnageTool 2.0.3 is now available as a Sparkle update, or a direct download. This version provides support for iPhone/iPod firmware 2.0.2 5C1, it has an updated Installer.app beta (b6) and contains a new .de localization for our large amount of German friends. The application SHOULD ONLY be downloaded as a .tbz file from our servers and should NOT be decompressed using the very broken application called “the unarchiverâ€

QuickPwn Beta 150 Released
http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1735

The Dev-Team has released Beta 150 of QuickPwn which contains a revised GUI from Poorlad with tighter integration

Also released today is the ‘150’ beta update to the Windows QuickPwn application, this contains a revised GUI from Poorlad that has tighter integration into the the main updated QuickPwn executable which has fixes for YouTube and provides BootNeuter support for the unlock of 2G iPhones, remember this is still beta software, use at your own risk. The updated tool is available for download here. NB: QuickPwn Windows doesn’t work well with virtualization as there are some problems with the way USB resets are handled, so we wouldn’t advise trying it, we have had reports of some success with VMWare Fusion 2.0 Beta 2, but this shouldn’t be relied on, use PwnageTool instead, or wait for QuickPwn Mac.

QuickPwn for Mac is being tested right now by a group of testers and we’ll release this when it is ready for public beta (this won’t be within the next 24 hours, but should be within the next week).

WinPwn 2.5 Beta 2 has been released to fix an error with IPSW creation and QuickPwn.

This update fixes a WinPwn bug which caused the application to crash when building an IPSW for a 2G iPhone. It also fixes a QuickPwn crash bug.

You can download the updated version of WinPwn here

N.B. You can also use the update feature in WinPwn to get the latest version.

This is my personal theme called Bez that I designed by using the original Apple iPhone Icons and then adding some extra punch and lighting effects to them. This is version Bez-1.0b. I has the full suite of standard app icons for 2.0+ (including Cydia and Installer).

I've seen some nasty cases of using SIM unlocks that get the unlock SIM card stuck in the phone and cant come out -

I kinda prefer the software unlock method
