WRT to the train video.......is there that much clearance under a train that it cut him and didn't drag off the half that would have been below the train?

depends on more than a few factors, but yes generally there is some clearance beneath the undercarriage. to be sure of how much hadda know the rail height, & the distance from the undercarriage to bottom of the wheels

i doubt it had a cowcatcher on that one tho

I'd rather my manager be hot and sweaty than having to explain to a judge why proper precautions weren't followed and someone got injured/killed. Yes people, you can be jailed for signing work permits, RA's that are inappropriate, or worse, false.
