I fishing there for years from a kid, but i like it early in the morning, 6.00 - 10 am just me and the cleansed water from overnight tides. All the life comes in close, snorkel, fish, enjoy the water but the fish have severely declined, i could catch heaps of small muttons, mangrove and lane snappers for fun as well as the odd bonefish a long time ago. People drag net there in the night and kill half of the fish and seagrass :/ Seeing a little bit of comeback now.

Well is catfish city in cedros, one cuz the water was a little cloudy/dirty close to shore, two- people dragging 20 foot hand seines in addition to the pirogue trawlers who just looking for shrimp and killing thousands of small mix fish by leaving them on the shore to die as by catch. really sickening. It wouldn't take them 2 mins to push back all the fish in the water. :/ On a better note, i caught live shrimp by hand 3 ft from shore. Might go manzan tomorrow to bang out some more surf fishing.

Heading Down Chaguramas Tomorrow... Will Probably Try Behind KFC Somewhere There... Heard There's A Small Jetti Where You Can Walk On And Throw In Deep Waters... Gonna Try A Thing... Anyone Know What Time Would Be Good To Go?... Looking To Fish More Daylight Than Night....

Ok guys so. I did a little fishing.

Tobago. Loads of black fin tuna, king fish, red fish , amber jack. I know some people go say how that looking like a fish vendor but thats the fish we caught and we decided to get them cleaned the other day.Thats was some of the fish. I took pics while we were empting the cooler. So you didnt see all the fish. Was about 20 Tuna, 12 kings fish, 1 amber jack, 2 reds and some others.
So we paid a guy at pigeon point to clean and bag all the fish so it would be easier to transport and keep good back to trinidad two days after. Tuna ranged from 7lbs - some 10lbs
Amber jack 14lbs, King fish ranged from 8lb to 13lbs
