Poor game from Portugal and Ronaldo.

Seemed like a decent game on paper, but there was plenty poor football from Portugal who have themsevles to blame for this defeat.

But anyway i dont care, i now see i predicted the result of this game to be 3-2 germany,in the betting league we have here in the office!!

The Germans had very good set pieces which shake up the Portuguesse defense...After all i perfer the game ended this way than PK...

Hmm...In addition to Netherlands meeting Italy in the semis there is now the possibility that Croatia could meet the Germans.

IMO they could have mixed the draw so teams that met already could only do so again in the final. Friendly rivalries aside, that may have made things more interesting... 8-)

Spain takin it this rounds...don't forget they are unbeaten as well. They have been under achievers in the past (actually, always...), but I think the time is right and the fact that Italy gonna have some missing players due to bookings, could make the game a little easier for "el nino" and the Spaniards...
