And from what i reading in this thread, if you initially put your address as a trinidad address, you will need an account with a US address instead?

I think routing numbers are used for transactions involving U.S. banks only? To identify a local bank, they usually ask for the SWIFT code. You can find RBC Chaguanas SWIFT code through Google.

yes you can, takes approx 2 working days to show up, after you have been billed.

paypal also sends an email notification indicating that you sent payments to an authorized merchant in the sum of.... In republic online banking it would show up as an authorized but not yet confirmed payment. Only when it is processed then the payment is confirmed.

My dilemma is that for some websites, they require a credit card issued by a US based bank. Even though you try to use paypal as an alternative it still declines because the credit card attached to the paypal account is attached to a trini bank. Tried adding my skybox address to the account but this didn't work either. Any way around this? or has anyone used it with their skybox address and worked?

Also, when shopping online on websites is there any way to indicate the currency (USD, CAD, etc) that the payment is to be made rather than paypal automatically making the payment in TT dollars?

I have been trying to add my RBTT Bank account to my paypal, but without any luck...

Who can assist me? All I need is the bank's routing number, and even the bank has been unable to provide a working one...
