I have realized that 626's esp the pap series and above are going like dogg cheap and ones that are in relatively good shape interior and exterior. Seemingly pick up drive state. What are the reasons for that? Cause i sense something has to be seriously wrong with these cars. Oh ...and does those reason(s) extend to 323's of the same era as well?

AFAIcan remember, the charmants body was anything but strong.
The front was very weakly framed and as such, a couple pot holes and years later, thelights/grill/bumper combo , would never line up as it did from inception.
Good lookers when tastefully done, but weak. And os course, the "scrabble" bit is a rule of thumb!
