I put a rolling shutter from OFS Canvas.

Much more difficult to break in and takes up far less space inside the garage.

Local, foreign? Looking to get a 20 ft section of garage door or equivalent replacement, but that length seems to be problematic.

^ Alutech is the manufacturer in the US and OFS Canvas are the local dealer and supplier.

20’ might be doable but might be safer to do two 10ft sections

Bumping this ched for some info/assistance...

I have my plans for a garage at approximately 18ft wide, is it possible to get one garage door with that width or do I need two??

Also, if I get a door that width, how wide should the garage be?

Exactly 18?
More than or less than 18??

Thanks

A double garage door is typically 16ft x 7ft. The opening should be smaller than the interior dimension.

You can get one door, BUT, a section of my 20ft single door got damaged and it has been pressure to get a replacement section. I am now contemplating a double door with a centre support/track.

Two would be easier to maintain and repair. Depending on vehicle usage you may open one more than the other.
That middle support can be aggravating at times though.

There is new version where instead of going up, it can go to the side.
