and to ease congestion....decentralise. Move not only government bodies but private bodies to Sando, Chaguanas, Grande, Arima, Tobago even. People gonna say "it will kill Town"..i don't agree. The major economic activity in Town is Woodbrook One, the Avenue and Movietowne, maybe Frederick/Henry Street shops and the East End of the Promenade. Everywhere else is pretty dead outside business hours. People still gonna see films and lime and stuff, even if Ministries move offices to Arima or Chaguanas or wherever.

Wish they outright ban flexihours.

Well if we wanna live a 1st world level, we must adapt first world functionalities...
As for flex workers comin late & leavin
early, management will just have to discipline em accordingly...
Another way to ease traffic is for the necessary bodies to get up & re-vamp ALL Govt Offices like they do in the Private Sector - full internal audit, let one of dem lazy rass Govt workers do 3 or 4 ppl wuk & send home d rest if they fail at their "new functions" after a 6 mth contract...

Contract the entire public service and watch how it will improve.

It can take 3-4 years of investigation and red tape to discipline someone for somone 100 mins late in one month.
