Belize. I too wanted jamaican but I'm happy with this. I've worked on American flagged vessels, English and Caribbean. Never had a problem. It's on the white list so it shouldn't matter. Only in our country I can't work on trini flagged vessels but that's alright. There is no money there.

What I've seen since being out here is, , with dp 250 usd to 450 usd a day for mates. Without dp foreign wise I don't know. Best options locally I think will be delta and bourbon. They have 8 vessels or more in trini now. 49 on and off tho.

Must hold a license that's all. No sea time needed. 49 on off is good for certain people. Not me nah. Got buddies doing it.

Good day fellow tuners,
Well guys i currently doing some research on Kenson School of Production and contemplating on doing the Offshore Production Operator Programme.
I’m not to concern about the age old saga of should i do City & Guilds vs UTT and who accredited and what not.
Currently in my last year of my B.A.Sc. in Utilities Engineering at UTT, possess a UTT Technicians Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and a Journeyman Certificate in Industrial Maintenance from MIC.

I have worked in the industry as a mechanical maintenance tech for roughly 5 years but always wanted to work offshore for a BP ,BG OR INTERNATIONAL company in maintence.do you guys think taking 9months to do the Offshore Production Operator Training At Kenson is going to be worth it, seeing that it is only offered fulltime.i dont know anyone personally who went there but there name always seem to ring out when it comes to offshore

i have read some stuff on tuner about Kenson but more towards the lower level courses they offer but nothing about the offshore thing

any advice guys????

City & Guilds is England based. Could carry that anywhere and work. Heard kenson is ok.

They carry you to a nearby beach and you swim on the shore line....I walk and move my hands and passed.

Call Hummingbird, ask about TBOSIT. That should be applicable.

I don't think tbosiet is required for trinmar, as you're not going to the platform by chopper so no need for the huet component.
