Vudu supposed to have a new webapp for iPad :)

I honestly dont see the need for greater than 32GB though. I have a 16GB iPhone. The only time i run out of space is when i copy seasons onto it to watch during the night (Goodplayer is epic for that btw, srt files work with it too!) and i didnt setup my NAS properly yet.
But once i clear that out, i have about 10GB free... and last check i had over 100 apps. I dont play much games anyway.

But seeing games like Real Racing takes 400MB alone... yea... that would explain a lot as to why you'd need a 32GB or greater.

According to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937 they should be

they would only be able to unlock the ones they sell.

Nowhereelse.fr has created a video summary of all the iPhone 5 rumors to date.

Recently hired by THE Gang, the talented Nicolas Doretti (video) and Axel Guenoun (music) agreed to direct this beautiful video just bellow and the least we can say is that these young men know what they're talking about! Based on a very few directions, Nicolas and Axel were able to produce this work, truly matching our expectations and in such a short time. Pros you do need to add to you business contacts right away, if you wish to have the best of the bests in case you need it. What else to say if not that we hope you'll enjoy this project as much as we do.

Truth in advertising: the woman in the stock photo you see above is delighted with her iPhone. We’re not sure what Nokia had to do with any of that, but that didn’t stop them from taking the image and slapping their logo on it. Ha! You wish.

Apparenty TSTT is dropping the advanced payment requirement for the iPhone plans.
Got a call saying the are going to apply the full $3000 advanced payment as a credit on the acct after which the bill will be $375 + vat.

The 16GB handset price is advertised now as $3599 vat incl. for Plan 1

The WiMax device is still included.

you can download a movie player app that plays almost all movie formats

then open iTunes , press apps

scroll down to the app name , press it then press "add" button and add as many movies from your computer as you want

I use Goodplayer and Oplayer Hd (for iPad)

VLC gives me trouble to watch my HD TV show (top gear)

I see no reason why they should not.

If they don't want to loose their contract, i.e.

u can used the app called safari to access the Internet via wifi edge 4g etc ..... for calls press the phone app , you can cut your regular bmobile/digicel sim card to micro sim specs and it will work ...or use a sim cutter ...If you have the older model sims with the larger circuit board I assume your sim may not work but I can be wrong

I had my sim card from the beginning as well. I cut it myself and worked it with a nail file until i got the fitment.

I was not going to pay $75-$150 to get it cut :S

No issues thus far.

Does the 3g on the ipad 2 work on edge networks like it does with iphones for data?

For what it's worth my bb data plan on bmobile refused to work on my iphone 4. Even after setting the apn to internet.

We’re all aware of how popular Apple’s iPhone has become since it was launched in 2007. But did you know that over the past three years, it’s one of only two devices to maintain a spot in the top 20 mobile phones list produced by Millennial Media? Not only has it stayed firmly in the top 20 for three years running, but it has also stayed firmly in at number one.

Millennial Media is a mobile advertising company that began operating five years ago. On Friday it produced its 50th Mobile Mix “intelligence report,” which features a list of the top mobile phones ranked by impressions. Out of the 20 devices listed, surprisingly, only two have maintained a place for more than 12 months, and that’s Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s BlackBerry Curve.

The chart above shows the top 20 smartphones during 2009, and the top 20 during 2011. You’ll notice that the iPhone dominates the top spot throughout, whereas RIM’s device has climbed up from third to sit in second place. What’s most interesting is that out of the other 18 devices features in 2009, not one of them is in the top 20 in 2011.

To put that into perspective, there have been just two iPhones — the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4 — since that 2009 list was produced, but there have been countless other smartphones from a host of other manufacturers that just can’t seem to maintain their popularity quite as well.

Will today’s most popular Android devices still be of any worth in 2013?

It’s a glaring hole in Apple’s MacBook line:The ability to access 3G (4G?) networks without tethering or using a 3G hotspot. Apple CEO Steve Jobs told the USAToday in 2008 that the reason that he didn’t want to build that functionality into MacBooks was that it invited complexity and locked users into a carrier.

When Jobs says “considered it”, this is what he means:

An Ebay auction today (via MacRumors) shows that Apple was getting ready to release such a MacBook Pro – all the way back in 2007.

Image

The prototype Santa Rosa MacBook Pro has a SIM card slot which is identified as a Dynastream ANT2USB card. In the US, that would have worked on T-Mobile or AT&T as well as many international GSM carriers. The seller originally bought it from a Craigslist ad as a non working machine for parts. Upon opening it, he realized that this was no ordinary MacBook Pro (if the huge antenna didn’t give it away!). He got the machine into working order (thought 3G is not tested) and is selling it as-is, “no guarantees”.

It isn’t certain why Apple never opted to go with a 3G option in any of its Macbooks. Perhaps the complexity and the numbers never made sense. Now that almost everyone carries a Personal Hotspot capable phone in their Pocket, it may not ever make sense.

Guys, i have a question

The ministry where i work want to purchase iPad 2's, however Bmobile would not have them until October they said.

A requirement of the device is that it is able to open, create, read, and above all, track changes in documents.

My question now:

Can the iPad 2 (out of the box) do this? Does it have any stock apps that will?
If not, are they any apps on the market that can?
If so, what's the average cost of this/these apps?

I don't have access to an iPhone or iPad to check this for myself, so your assistance will be greatly appreciated :)
