Could someone explain to me why time restraint is a problem in cpl where rain can interrupt for a few hours and still have an outcome, while a review system is too time consuming?

^^ u taking on that chupid talk. How can a review system not be implemented due to "time" constraints when they don't have hawk eye? Third umpire just as bad as on field so what's the sense? Cpl is ah party...fete match.

Technology such as hawkeye has user license and other costs issues associated with it. The reason Hawkeye is usually used only in international series involving Australia, India and England is that their boards can pay the costs required to use it i.e. for the extra HD cameras, software licences etc.
Maybe CPL doh wanna pay??

For the entire cpl, basic camera review showed the negligence of on field umpires. That's how we all saw it, an experienced umpire can judge lbw's without ball tracking technology in real time, much less for basic slow motion that the third umpire has access to and can overturn a decision based on length, height and deviation off the pitch just by using his eyes and having speed measurements at whim to boot.
And well, mahela...don't you think the third umpire can see if the ball comes off his gloves or arm up in the box to warrant a review?

Bishop was stating that maybe one review per side could be implemented next year and that wont be too bad
I am sure all of the teams will be in support for better umpiring over all next year considering some of the horrid decisions made

Glad to see the comradery between gayle and bravo despite the loss
and coincidental that the bulk of the 3 teams left are made up of trinidadians
so no matter who is in the final it will be good!

this years CPL thus far, every team suffered to poor umpiring. Also most teams played really poor cricket. Surprisingly, in my opinion, the two teams that played with the best spirit were knocked out

that upper stand was empty for all of the other games including semifinal 1....

how does one become a member of this stand and not let those seats go to waste?

True. And their team is significantly depleted in terms of key players in their early victories.

After the match yesterday their coach Simon Helmot said they were expected to be resting last night, not out partying, in response to the same question whether Bravo and them would be partying.

Commentators during the match said a different pitch is to be used today.
