Converting a big car park and new offices for public servant to play the@$$ to a hospital Completed " technically" ?
Couva hosptial ?
The highway extension(both unc terms)?
New licensing office and mini highway in front it?
Couva interchange?
The grandbazar interchange pnm build ah ramp in 8 years
Project was started back under bas days.
Countless roads rebuilt and landslides fixed in south.
Housing projects in multiple locations

Along with all the projects left hung by last admin being completed.
All with out having bus loads of chinee on the highway (remember that)
All without having rampant inflation and crazy increases in land prices and construction materials.

Just to name a few.
We all know they do some sh!t but in comparison to before .
The vision is practicallity
Look at the highway more turn off lanes in some of the flyovers
Longer merge lanes
Common sense

Tall buildings dont mean development eh.

Of all the completed projects to date, which are the ones started under PNM??
Only a few...GB Interchange, couple HDC projects, perhaps the Waterfront buildings...what else?

Compare that to the countless Major projects started under the PP and completed or will be completed soon... D'Abadie bridge, Trincity BRidge, Diego HWay extension, SOuth HWay, Childrens Hospital, Upgrade to Sando teaching hospital, Aquatic centre, Countless ECC centres, NUmber of Police stations, Police bays, cable barriers, widening of SH highway, numerous landslips repaired, miles and miles of box drains and roads paved, upgrades to numerous playgrounds, Preysal Flyover upgrade, Valencia Bypass road, Caroni Bypass road, Maloney walkover, walkover close to Trincity, Charlieville walkover, miles of pavement built, upgrade to GG prison, new Licensing Authority, implementing strategies to ease congestion on the roads..eg PRice plaza roundabout, Macaulay bypass rd etc, increased visibility of police, highway patrols increased, bail out HCU and Clico, removal of vat from certain items, Increased water supply to the nation, Upgrades to the water pipeline network throughout the country, and I could go on and on.
So ppl like you should pull out yuh head from your arse and open ur eyes, and judge with an open mind.

Should a PM who oversaw her party lose their last four elections, be introducing new legislation for the upcoming General Elections?

The PM was given that right by the people of this nation that elected her . Too bad if PNM don't like it that's how parliament works. This is a democratic nation.

True this is a democratic nation. But why claim to be giving the ppl power when it didn't come out the million dollar consultation about constitutional reform, the Opposition only has few days to respond, the nation only has few days to discuss and who cares even if they discuss it because the PPG will push it through regardless.

That is the kinda stuff I expect from some autocracy trying to fake elections à la Putin or Saddam Hussain, not a western democracy.

it's sad to attend one of these constitution reform public consultations & be only 1 of 7 'members of the public' who are interested enough to give their input.
THAT IS WHY WHEN @HOLES START BRAYING ABOUT 'RAMMING LEGISLATION DOWN THROATS'...all I do is
u think politicians don't know this ?? whether govt or opposition ?? but is opposition who will start a big hullaballoo...because they KNOW ppl dint come to the consultations, so they still as ignorant as the 1800's & can be manipulated ...

So what if the PNM is a minority party? The last LGE the PP was selling us the idea that proportional representation allows for minority parties to have a say and represent their supporters. With 50% run off small parties are crushed and it is totally opposite to the principles of proportional representation.

It seems like the only party who scared is the one that lost 4 elections and only trying to shift the goal posts.

Sir Arthur Lewis advocated Consociationalism - Consensus democracy. Proportional representation by whatever means chosen is the closest to this ideology.

Thanks to all the gullible ppl in this patch of bush

The cajones to do such a non-democratic, thinly disguised, siege on the population in the last year of an elected term is unprecented.

You studying UML?.

No one in here more insecure than him. Those "Gov't Achievement" and "National Pride" cheds are nothing but political insecurity, for his beloved party that started "under his house."

You'll see how fast his "National Pride" ched will stop being updated, if another party takes office. UML is nothing but a transparent joke.

Country might be better off under a UNC dictatorship than a PNM pseudo-democracy.
