Doctors remove 28 POUNDS of feces from man, 22, who was constipated since birth due to rare bowel condition



Chinese doctors removed 28 pounds of feces from the bowels of a 22-year-old man who was reportedly constipated since birth (pictured)

Doctors removed 28 pounds of feces from the bowels of a man who was reportedly constipated since birth.

The unnamed 22-year-old had 30 inches of his grossly enlarged bowel removed by surgeons at Tenth People's Hospital of Shanghai in China.

It is believed the young man had Hirschsprung's disease, which causes the bowels to swell because the nerves that are supposed to control the gut are missing.

Doctors said the man looked like he was nine months pregnant because of the painful enlargement and feces backup.

California men accused of stealing $300,000 in avocados from employer



Three southern California men were arrested for grand theft of avocados for lifting $300,000 of the pebble-skinned fruit, officials said.

Avocado exports from California totalled $25 million in 2015, the newspaper reported.


Valenzuela, 38, Chavez 28 and Leblanc, 30, were arrested for grand theft of avocado. (Ventura County Sheriff)

Avocados typically sell for $50 a box, Mission Produce President Steve Barnard told the newspaper.

Things started to look amiss when the books didn’t add up, he added. Customers also noticed the prices were wrong.

That’s because the employees were selling them them for $20 to $30 a box.
