Never bought it...

I just glimpsed it on the shelves at the stores
Wast even sure if it was vibrance or growth as they were together on the shelf, just looked at the price 340ish

You can manually deal with it by adding hydrogen peroxide (2%-3%) directly on the algae. It will turn red and fizzle and will not affect fish. Hydrogen peroxide (h2o2) when it reacts with the algae will give off oxygen bubbles (o2) and you're left with h2o of course I eh expect you to empty the bottle in the tank.

Guys a lot going on with my tanks these days but I can't post to the site. Idk why. Check me on fb on trini diy fish keepers and hobbyists and you go see ting.

Considering the fact that I see gars in 5ft tanks a lot, I thought the pond would have been sufficient.

They can average around 3ft. The koi will become food for the gar and rtc.

I seen the spotted gar gets to about 3 ft max so I may look at getting one of those in future. Add a population of hilaries and guppies to hopefully keep it away from the koi.

I did that some years ago. A helpful tip i got from a guy was to install some plastic fine mesh under the layer of sand that you are resting it on if you putting it in the ground, just in case it have weird animals that dig their way up and buss your liner.I don't know how practical this is, but i wasn't taking any chances

Didn't even think of that. I'll look into doing.that but I really don't think anything in my yard will rupture EDPM liner.
