Did a lil banking around monos and right around, just a few small salmon, but my uncle and dem went out a few miles out and hold a few alright fish.

Dat old jetty in buccoo, held small cavalli, nice lippi there on cut mullet caught right there with a cast net. Also hooked a monster of a fish on a piece of cut grunt right in front dat jetty dat almost spooled my fierce reel with 50lb braid in a few seconds. Fish got away though.

Small barracudas to be caught if u throwing spoons and on d sandy beach, zilwan.

If u walk dat beach on d left and go around d small rocky point sometimes tarpon by d hundreds liming right near shore because bait usually gathers there.

See if dat info help u bumpie.

Where ever you guys going, if its a place that's not rough let me know I may just do a recon from the yak. That is unless Bumpie doesn't have other plans.

So I finally got around to doing some maintenance, had my dad pick a tub of grease for me at mankees. Stripped down and repacked my battle which got dunked for carnival and I also decided to crack open my speedmaster(jap) which I bought from a fellow tuner fisherman. thought I'd share some sweet gearage with you guys. This is hardened stainless main gear and pinion and the ar dog is beefy as well, the trinidad and talica don't come with this kind of robust old school gearing. Considering getting some carbon fibre drag washers for it. One of my fav reels by far. Here's also a big lippy and moonshine which were caught today in chag.

I usually get some serious sunburn when fishing. Any recommendations on sunscreens.

If you using sunblock make sure you wash your hands real good before handling bait. Fish dont like the smell of sunblock. Better to use uv rated clothes.

@ Ryan99tt, real nice fish you all pull in the tournament. You all fish ballyhoo exclusively or do you use high speed artificials too?
