Any one did scar treatments locally?
What treatment did you used?
Who did you do it by?
Cost?
Thanks.

Check face and body clinic. They use laser (fractional CO2 i think but check to make sure)

About $200 per scar. Give them a call.

dr chandra sinanan mahabir ....gulf view medical.

very very good at what she does.
her fee a few years ago was at $300 for the fist visit and this was reduced with each successive visit until the 4th visit was free.

considering this....its not that bad, but the $300 did seem extreme at first.

Well imo, if something did not work during the first try, maybe needed more, or something stronger. Most of the time Basanta can identify by viewing the problem. You can call him to find out what needs to be done, or changed/added. Notify him that the meds are not working, the updated diet, etc.

Like I had a problem with itchy feet, turns out it wasn't a problem of mine.. but the damn new shoes. The only prescription was to change my shoes lol.

Also, there's this child living next door, her hair is falling off, but with little education the parents have, they think it's cancer, but hairloss doesn't happen unless the person is undergoing chemo. So I'm sending them to Basanta (I hope they can afford it). The condition could be, that she has alopecia areata, and it can be treated.

Good luck, and with any chance, just have patience!

OOh, quick note, always take all medication in a very timely manner, whether it's 4, 6, 8, 12, 24 hrs.. this is very essential in the "getting-well" process. Don't skip meds and always have a meal before you take them, unless it's not necessary. Eat at least 3 Crix, if you're not hungry. :)

Go by Serpentine or Sk!n (http://skintt.net/) or Dr. Eckel.

oh wow, he went straight to steroids for seborrheic dermatitis huh ... if that is not working out well for you, you can try using anti-fungal or kerolytic products like ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione, sulfur, urea etc.

Hi has anyone ever visited Dr Aruna Kumari. Is she good? I have a serious hair loss problem and I am only 33. My Scalp is showing and not sure what is causing it. Is she a good dermertologist to see for hair loss issues?
