Digicel Imax Trinidad

We are excited to open the Digicel IMAX doors to you. We are finishing up the last stages of construction and we are aiming to open to show Transformers. However if there is any change in schedule we will advise ASAP. Later this week we will post updates on opening and also procedure to reserve and book tickets. Thank you for your patience!

Sorry but anything involving digicel i won't be supporting, especially them and their nasty and immoral business practices.

I rather buy a ticket for Florida n watch imax across there

Does it make a difference whos place it is?

Digicel is a major part sponsor, they don't own or operate the IMAX franchise in Trinidad. It is actualy a small company located on Tragarete Road on the 2nd floor of the Dyna Cool building shared with 360 Communications.

underground car park = :?

They have any other car park besides the underground? I don't like the fact that people have to pass between cars to get to the stairs/elevator.

if u dont wanna support digicel, just dont support digicel, i never wanted to try digicel, because i was happy with bmobile, my dad registered a phone on my name with digicel, i ran up $700 dollars on it and told them firetruck yu (asian accent), and with my digicel experience i really got to hate tham, i used my phone to connect my pc to the internet, in less than 2 hours digicel took $150 from me, bmobile charges $4 per meg

the moral of the story is dont inconvenience urself to be a hater,

BACK on topic, i would like to know how i can get 2 tickets for the opening show

You just described nearly every public gathering in the East-West Corridor. Besides guntas are ppl too. :rocol:

My concern is for the residents of W1P, after spending upwards of $4mil for their apartments, having to share it us common folk :wiggle:

Hi everyone,

Firstly I have been reading each and every response on the DIGICEL IMAX FB pages. I sense your anxiety to get more information as to which film will open the cinema and thank you for your support and excitement.

As you know we are preparing to open the doors of our new Digicel IMAX theatre and look forward to welcoming you to the IMAX reality. The patented IMAX geometry has very strict guidelines and we have had some challenges, especially the acoustical requirements for the renowned IMAX audio experience. Because it has to meet IMAX’s international standard, we have made a significant adjustment within only the last few weeks to accommodate this.

If we have been silent, it is because the entire TEAM IMAX is working hard towards the first two weeks of July to open. However the construction timeline is dictating our ability to state a definitive opening date. Depending on how prepared we are, we will either open with Transformers or Harry Potter.

If we do open for Transformers we would honestly be unable to meet the Transformers’ opening date of the 29th of June and would be more prepared to open in the 2nd week of July.

Our second option is to open on Friday 15th July for the final chapter of Harry Potter. In this case please do not fear as we plan to bring back Transformers in IMAX 3D before the end of the July / August holidays!

Tickets for our 3D movies start at $75. Tickets will be on sale at the Digicel IMAX cinema at One Woodbrook Place at a date to be later advised.

Keep posted for show times and more information! We will do our best to communicate with you as often as possible.

Thank you!

Waiting to see TF around the end of the July / August holidays makes no sense everyone is going to watch it with in its first 2 weeks.

Looking to see what other movies deserve an IMAX viewing.

that's a good price when you consider that the average cinema ticket in the US is around $10 and IMAX is about double that.

reference should not be made to the US economy because their economy is in shambles right now and all prices are dropping there.

while here..everything is rising.

two completely different scenarios.
