^^^ Kudos Sinister....Gotta respect a man who knows what he's talking about

To date the car is still a very capable road car but we're realizing given the myriad of problems we're encountering that we should stop trying to be a street/ strip vehicle and truly give the car what it is asking for at the power vs performance level it currently has.

We're debuting 26's this weekend beause the 24.5's just ain't cutting it on that surface (tbh they're quite old also and as a result totally lacks any attributable grip of a newer slick). We were hesitant before because we know the 26' can cause serious problems overall.

As you mentioned, I've given some thought to the "perfect tyre" for the track condition but given what we're working with in terms of budget and availability, there are limits in our ability to just gather options until best is achieved.....So we make choices based knowledge and past experience as members of teams gone by. Considering the frustration of putting down FF power on a fresh and un-prepped track, more grip (minimal) can be achieved through a few other paths and we're exploring that this week but sadly there's no place to test and tune since the "track" is not an everyday pay-as-u-go...No scene, it's the choice we made and we gotta do what we gotta do
