I was now wondering this...How Barbados was issued a storm warning and it's not even at TS strength or for that matter depression yet? :? i confused now

That is called future projection.

Take in front before in front takes you.

Totally understandable but Barbados a bit far off the project path for a warning. They would get some feeder bands but no direct. huh whatever yes

this should shift further north as it approaches but still looking uncomfortably close for trinidad, tobago may feel it more
time to put up the shields

Sustained winds currently at 30 knots/ 55 kmph.

The winds shouldn't be too bad. It's less than a Cat 1, though i'm not going to underestimate the damage such winds can cause! But I expect there'll be a lot of flooding, and some amount of coastal damage due to storm surge.

Is TTEC going to cut power for a certain time? Are flood risk areas going to be evacuated? (to the BL stadium?)
Groceries tomorrow will be a scene!

Potential Tropical Cyclone Two east of the Windwards
6/18/2017 11:01:00 PM

Potential Tropical Cyclone Two is about 600 miles east of the Windward Islands early Monday morning EDT. It is moving quickly westward at 23 mph. With this quick movement, it will affect the Windward Islands by Monday night.

Potential Tropical Cyclone Two is expected to strengthen during the next day or two into a tropical storm as it moves near and over the Windward Islands. If named, it would become Bret. Tropical storm warnings are in effect for Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as Trinidad and Tobago, and Grenada. This system will bring heavy rainfall and stronger wind gusts to near 50 mph for the Windward Islands as it moves through Monday night into Tuesday. Once this system pushes into the Caribbean Sea, it will weaken as it encounters some increased wind shear and dry air. Thus, it will likely weaken into a tropical rainstorm over the central Caribbean Sea.

I wonder when they will put out the advisory about no school on Tuesday.

Oh, I forgot. Growley in office. Go to school on Tuesday.
