I know most persons here are on the technical side but looking at a Project Administrator position, I have an administrative background (mostly HR related) but looking to make the transition as I think it's closely linked anyway. Of course they want experience in the oil/energy field which I don't have but I'm sure I can do the job.
Anyone can give more details as to what the Project Admin does?

Saw an opening with WorleyParsons.

Project admin - takes minutes, sets up meetings, files correspondence, assists with documentation, assists all departments (within reason) order lunch, make sure the kettle top up and generally the project manager PA

Well they change the scope since you was there.
They probably was fed-up ah you not fulling the kettle so they give somebody else to do it.

Things in this industry getting harder and harder and more and more people getting qualified so the job market is becoming saturated
