I know someone personally, that took a stock Jap import RB26 and strap a single turbo on it with C16 and a stock intake manifold and ran 7.7's in a Pro RWD chassis.. It ran consistant high 7's till they did some head work and a Greddy Intake manifold which took it onto the 7.50 range... Not bad at all

BTW the car is a 2door Sentra that was called Mealo's Toy....

i'm sure 28lbs on a stock RB25DET is possible cause i know of a stock SR20DET that's currently handling 25lbs comfortable. also a daily driver.

I call B.S. The stock head gasket on the 25 can't take much more than 1.2 bar and the injectors need upgrading at .85 where is it going to get the extra fuel if you are dumping that amount of air??

In Japan the tuners normaly give them 30psi with bone stock head and block.. Once the oil pump does not fail and as you can see they ensured that fuel delivery was better than UPS anywhere

nice nice, I left the dyno when he was 493hp, ashton wanted that 500 figure so bad, he would have rather known the engine would have broken not getting it that evening than knowing that it could be done, well done Raymond btw, the sweat and KFC and drinks paid off,

putting the power down , suspension, drivetrain reacting to load, perhaps the same reason a 4wd will need much more power to do the same time,
I think summit racing has an article in the learn to drag as the topic and it explains, everything bit iby bit

Stock headgasket, highly doubt it, stock gasket is a paper like crap, always proven to blow over 1.2 bar on the best of tuning

But lets talk serious now, i thought plenty of you all said an rb25 cant push more than 400whp safely on stock head and block??    Tuning is always the key to a safer engine
