My issue wasn’t the removal. My issue is removing things without a suitable equivalent or better replacement. AirPods arrived long after the removal. I couldn’t give a damn what other flagship phones do afterwards. I spend my money on Apple devices and hold the company to higher standards. Should have had AirPods pro equivalent from the removal of the headphone jack or one year after in my opinion.

The headphone jack was removed in 2016, the same year AirPods were unveiled, not so?

Apple also had Beats wireless headphones two years before that also.

Note I said pro. Regular airpods could go in the garbage.

Check this
https://bgr.com/2020/01/29/kuo-new-appl ... ss-charger

"iPhones aside, Apple is also planning to refresh its MacBook Pro and MacBook Air lineups. Specifically, Kuo points to a 13-inch MacBook Pro with the more reliable scissor-switch keyboard design. It also stands to reason that a new MacBook Air model would incorporate the scissor-switch keyboard design as Apple, thankfully, appears to have abandoned the problematic butterfly keyboard design entirely."

Most accounting software works on both Windows and MacOS. There are also web based ones, depending on what you need.

Two questions

1. Had to swap SIMs recently, now back to my original bmobile SIM, but every time I plug in the iPhone to charge I get an iTunes message to update the carrier settings, which I check every time but it still comes up. Anyone know of a solution to stop that?

2. Also I’ve observed that bmobile changed their voicemail service, again, and trying to figure out how to delete voicemails.

bmobile’s answer to someone who had the same question was:

“the functionality is different on different phones. Please check your user manual for instructions. Thanks”

I think they misinterpreted the question but anyway, anyone knows how to delete voicemails?

Thanks.

New iPhone SE launched today
April 15th 2020

Apple today announced the second-generation iPhone SE, a powerful new iPhone featuring a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, paired with Touch ID security.

huh? The first iPhone SE launched in 2016 helped Apple to increase market share
The SE has been a great selling phone for Apple as it fits in a market segment Apple did not cater to before.
The previous 2016 SE was based on the iPhone 5 chassis while this new 2020 SE is based on the iPhone 6 chassis.
Apple stock also took a positive jump between yesterday and today.

I’m still using my SE and never had issues. And I’ve been waiting for the new SE to upgrade. So finally I can.

I think this is a great deal.
I don't know why local cell carriers don't get these options. Cost isn't bad, and tat device would run you for a couple years well.
Interested to see how the local cell stores price this.

No trade-ins locally since none are really actual Apple Stores
The new SE is not that much bigger, it's a 5S vs a 6S in size comparison

I bought my se in August 2016. Slapped on an otter box and a tempered screen protector. Using it right now to type this response and still in great condition.

I really liked the form factor of the 5 and 5S
but I think the new SE will suit a lot more people

Could very well be.
Beside all the new fancy features with face iD and others that the newer phones have, this phone still holds its own as a great option.

It's basically an iphone 8 with iphone 11 processor which is actually insane at that price point. Way to shake up the mid range market
