Have you tried making a us iTunes account?

I expected just the announcement. Them detailing it now is bonus content.

Intel lately has been disappointing for the Macs & iPhones. Learnt that the hard way with the iPhone XR.

I didn’t believe they would do it this soon. I wonder what Intel must be thinking.

Evening...so I gots Apple care and the back of my XS shattered and from what I understand as per speaking to some one in iWorld that they are “ only the authorized dealer to honor manufacturer issues” can any of you all be willing to shed some light on how I can probably go about having my phone fixed by Apple since I know with Apple care they cover “accidental damage”
Any insight is greatly appreciated bless!

iWorld my ass, if they so official then why they dont honour the Apple care?....fedex your phone to apple then skybox it back....there is a form to fill locally so customs wont charge you in full cuz it's a RMA device (check skybox thread)....this process is cheaper than getting it repaired locally cuz u have Apple care.

someone correct me if i am wrong plz.

Buy it anywhere once it's new, you can buy your warranty online.

he should give you the facts but screen damage to thin devices is non existent once u have the proper tools....DIY repairs usually result in damage TBH

So after looking at tons of YouTube reviews from the techies I can’t decide whether I should buy the MacBook Pro 16 inch for 4K video editing (heaviest task) or to wait on new ARM MBPs. My thinking is that Apple won’t restrict software updates for maybe 7 years with the current Intel-based processors on the 16” regardless of ARM processors. Am I right? Any thoughts?

they will be supporting the intel ecosystem for a while
apps will need to be ported for new chipset
I have a MPB13 on the way and not too worried about it.

If you wanna hold strain a next year for the ARM, that's a safe play too

Get the i9 8core. ARM macbooks won't offer pro level performance until maybe 2 years down the road and even then that might only be in Apple Apps. The i9 is a beast and in many benchmarks performs almost as fast as the new AMD super beast the Ryzen 4900.

Are you going 16gb or 32gb?
