Arcmanov wrote:Question for the iOS experts...
How is it that the 'Personal Hotspot' option can just disappear from the Settings menu?
TSTT already confirmed that they don't mess with tethering in any of their plans.
Device in question is an iPhone 13 running iOS version 13.5.
Any ideas on a resolution?
Arcmanov wrote:I'll certainly try that.
Thanks.
EDIT: Well that worked like gangbusters.
When you don't know eh.
Well ah learn something today.
I'm all about that Samsung and Android life.

I bought my iPhone a year ago and the health is already 85% which has lead to shorter battery life. You can also see what's draining battery in settings.
Next time I'm in the US I'm gonna just replace the battery at the Apple store.

Had this same idea with my 12 Pro Max which was 14 months old and had battery health at 86%. The battery health was going down 1% every 2 weeks at this point, so decided to change it while at an Apple store in the US.
Apple genius tried hard to convince me that nothing was wrong with the battery, but I knew that it wasn’t giving me the same battery life as it did in the first year of ownership.
Told them I’d pay the $69 + tax to do the battery service on it.
They told me it would take 1 hour since it takes a while for the adhesive to dry when they change the battery.
Came back in 2 hours and the phone still wasn’t ready. Apparently the first battery they changed it to was DOA, installed the second and their last battery in stock and the phone didn’t turn back on.
They ended up giving me a new replacement 12 Pro Max and a free Apple Leather case and a Belkin tempered glass screen protector for the trouble.
Long story short make sure your phone is backed up with iCloud in case this happens to you too.
