Poinsettia platform first gas

With 4,000-ton topsides, the offshore drilling and gas production platform for BG Trinidad & Tobago Limited flowed first gas this morning.

The Poinsettia platform with 9,000-ton jacket and 4,600t support piles is located off the northwest coast in 530 feet of water.

oh and scully is Poinsettia, not Hibiscus, hib modifications were completed early dec 08

Good to hear that man. I did the positioning of the jacket and piles for the pointsettia

Pic of jacket before during launch.... check out the size of the men on the barge compared to the jacket!!!

National Geographic was there filming so we might see it on megastructures or something...

i am not a rude person however , i don't see how we benefit or how Trinidad and Tobago go benefit

look at point fortin was promised a hospital .

train 1 come and build
train 2 come and build
train 3 and 4 come and build and what , just tell me what point or any where else in trinidad and tobago benefit any ,

same way all the gas finding from nort to east south and west benevolentness nothing doing for trini nor tobago , sorry that is my view :wink:

My first gas for the year passed around 12.20am on the 1st of January 09. Had redbeans about 10pm the night before
