I do not think masturbation is considered a sin.

Christians who cannot control themselves blame masturbation for their fornication & adultery.

The churches have failed Jesus Christ and the world.

Many pastors & priests seem to become de-sensitized from the word of God after a number of years.

Being fired up for the Lord is overcome by fleshly desires.

They believe once saved always saved no matter what vile actions they commit.
The world is Hindu bro.

Christ was made up

Roman historian and senator Tacitus actually mentions the crucifixion of Christ outside of Jerusalem.

Siddhartha Gautama and Muhammad ibn Abdullah were certainly real.

Zeus, Jupiter, Odin, Brahma the Creator, YHWH, The Lord God, Allah, and Godzilla are fabrications.

Buddha, Socrates, Jesus, Muhammed: multiple contemporaneous accounts of the men, no written records in their own hand, their transcribed sayings and deeds should NOT be expected to be 100% accurate but should be expected to contain various degrees of fiction or embellishment.

Roman accounts of Jewish historical events: Josephus and Tacitus.

Proof of a Supreme Being: no evidence.

We leave it to the poster to do further research.

So much written history was lost at the hands of the book burning religion.
Take away books, you take away history, take away history and you destroy the identity of a collective of people.
That is the main reason MG that you will not find written history of a lot of things quoted in religion.
While the stories and mythos might be distorted over the centuries and the true meanings lost, there are some aspects of irrefutable truths found in religion.
Explain how the Nazca lines ended up in Valmiki's Ramayana.

Also there is a huge difference between random internet blogs by wig outs and actual studied and published archaeology. ramanisblog.in, pparihar.com and facebook.com are not sources of credible information or study in real history or anthropology or archaeological science.

That supposed trident looks like a normal cactus to me.

yes Aaron! Exactly! The world and universe, and life are far more complicated and fascinating and wondrous to the silly limited ideas humans came up with over the last few thousand years. Those ideas btw, have not yet and never have yielded a single shred of evidence or proof ever.

But now that we have better tools and methods to observe, we should grow up and stop believing in something as equivalent as Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy and see nature and our existence for what it really is and continue always being curious. Like what Feynman was explaining about magnets.

Yes that's the idea.

You saw the South Korean series Hellbound on Netflix?

Interesting take on humans trying to wrap their minds around supernatural events and beings beyond our dimension and thus creating a cult like religion and following which then made them judge, jury and executioner under the guise of "God". Kinda like what many religions since forever

Very possible for us to be graced with Supernatural, Inter dimensional beings and entities throughout time(which we may call God's, aliens, spirits, demons, ghosts) just cuz theres no selfie or proof to our limited primitive minds don't mean its something to laugh off and say its silly thinking. 100, 500, 5000 years ain't no time in existence to say yea we smarter dan dem dotish humans.

Something is definitely up out there though, which our science and "intelligence" may never solve or truly figure out

Ent!
Men used to laugh at the concept of the world not being flat. They would outright tell you that you are wrong. The ancient texts spoke of a spherical earth.
The Yoga-Vāsiṣṭha (500 BCE) mentions that humans and animals walking on earth is akin to ants crawling on a ball. And that the earth is covered by cities, vegetations and mountains just like a like the walnut by its coat.
The Rigveda (1800 BCE) also reiterates that the sun never sets nor rises, but that when the sun sets, it is actually creating day on the other side and likewise it rises while triggering night on the other side.
Dem is ole wives tales kyak kyak kyak.
Chuppid backwards heathens don't know anything.kyak kyak kyak.

Don't discount knowledge because you for yourself are unaware of it.
An ant doesn't need to understand the concept of gravity to be subject to it, neither does it require studies on the matter.
What the modern world has become is a follower of the observer effect.ie. pics or it didn't happen.
The universe is vast and complicated. There may very well be beings that mankind used to interact with, but for some reason are unable to do so now.We may have also had more than 5 senses at some point, but do not have them now.Time conceals and reveals equally

Just saying I'm wrong doesn't make you right.

You are out of your depth on this one. You just don't seem to know it.

... the story of Moses was most likely borrowed from the Egyptian mythos while the Isrealites were enslaved in Egypt. It is unlikely that Moses ever existed. Even Moses' supposed writing of the Torah is inconsistent and likely a transcription of oral tradition.

The Ramayana story known to us, where Raam is depicted as divine and an avatar of Vishnu is called the Ramcharitar Manas. This is a re-write by Tulsidas of an epic written by Valmiki called the Ramayana.
It is a very long book. There are English translations to it online from the original Sanskrit, the translation of which is another kettle of fish.I warn you, long read ahead if you interested.Lots of scientific references if you can spot them in between. This dude that translated this uses some very flowery language, and his translation for some things kinda off.But Sanskrit is like that. One word in Sanskrit can translate to many words in English.

'Shining Trident' , '75000 B.C' please refrain from Facebook or other social medias as a credible source.

Literally nobody believes in santa claus or the tooth fairy besides 4 y/o kids.

God does not make the universe less amazing, in fact God makes the universe extremely fascinating.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
6 "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

It is an irrefutable fact that Jesus Christ is who He says He is.

Mankind have been creating gods and worshipping them for thousands of years.

There was absolutely no reason for Jesus Christ to intervene.

That makes Santa Claus realer than Jesus.

santa unites all the worlds people except muslims. everyone comes together to give charity, help the poor drink rum , parang, make merry and celebrate christmas. so yes it makes santa realer than jesus and worth the trouble.

Zeus, Jupiter, Odin, Brahma the Creator, YHWH, The Lord God, Allah, and Godzilla are fabrications.

proof?

Explain how the Nazca lines ended up in Valmiki's Ramayana.

link for context? Never heard of it so can't comment
I will say however that there is ample evidence that columbus wasn't the first to have contact with the americas, so it could be as simple as undocumented explorers

Muslims do not worship the Messenger of Allaah (Muhammad ibn Abdullah), salAllahu alayhi was sallam.
The shahadah (the thing you declare to become a Muslim) is:

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ

(أَشْهَدُ أَنْ) I declare that:

>> (لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ) there is nothing worthy of worship, except for Allaah

and

>> (مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ ٱللَّٰهِ) Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah

The Religion Discussion

Postby Cantmis » December 31st, 2022, 8:21 am

Former Pope Benedict XVI has died, aged 95, almost a decade after he stood down because of ailing health.
He led the Catholic Church for fewer than eight years until, in 2013, he became the first Pope to resign since Gregory XII in 1415.

Benedict spent his final years at the Mater Ecclesiae monastery within the walls of the Vatican where he passed away at 09:34 (08:34 GMT) on Saturday.
His successor Pope Francis will lead the funeral on 5 January.
