It is on that date, at 7pm local time, that the world will turns its attention to the Mother City like never before. The 2010 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ final draw show will be broadcast from the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) to millions of viewers across the globe. Many high-profile visitors from all corners of the world will attend the event itself. Celebrities, sports stars, world leaders and dignitaries will sit amongst the audience, eager to hear the draw results.

South Africa's FIFA World Cup narrative dates back some time, but from a football perspective it is the draw itself that will create the canvas on which the 2010 FIFA World Cup story will be written. No one cares about the Irish....Once Tommy Smith Predictions didnt come through I'm fine by that

Sheit Brasilia is ranked #1 by Fifa....never a good thing heading into a major tournament. They always win when they are NOT the favorites :!:

Let's bring up memories of '06 all over again

Anyway, who's making the trip  ???

The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) have lodged a formal complaint with FIFA over the controversial World Cup play-off defeat to France and have urged world football's governing body to replay the match.

Sadly, they'd probably lose that complaint... It's a bad call by the ref and linesman, much like a poor offside or foul call.

Is a real hard luck that it happened in such a pivotal game, but thats just how it is. I think the only grounds for a re-match would be a technical error such as giving 1 player 2 yellow cards and not sending him off.

italy dont have any strikers, so unless they defending and playing for penalty shoot out, they not going pass quarters

giovinco needs to be there.. agreed... del piero is meh boy i hadda see im there!!

very unlikely to see nesta or totti there, thats ok, the defence can handle itself once chiellini and cannavaro there to handle the scenes!

since the last WC italy eh perform as well as they could but i feel this rounds we can defend it and take it back home again!
