you should have created the account so it will save all the crap you have to enter in the application
and then when all info is entered you will reach the point to print the page with barcode and carry it to scotiabank to pay
after scotia applies it to your application you will then have option to schedule appointment if you dont qualify for mail in visa.

Its two different things

One saves the application form

Then when making the account you need the completed application form

Go on this page and scroll to the bottom to make the account

sounds like your first application... remember you have to show proof of strong ties in the interview. if u do not show, u will get blank like me. no shame in getting blank and you can reapply later down the line and get thru, also like me.

if you older, carry things like job letter (if u working long time), professional registration, any property in your name, etc. they basically want to make sure you not going to run away and live dey, so you need to prove you have something on the island worth staying for.

it hard if u now come out of school and not yet enrolled in a tertiary program or anything. dais how i get blank. in that case, maybe carry your results slip and any acceptance letters, or something like that to show you not an aimless youth.

remember no shame in getting blank

Yes first time application for my son, he's 1.

I understand what you saying because it did happen to me as well a few years back and then the second time around where the embassy told me alot has changed when I got a job.

I did feel bad getting rejected but thinking about it today and not really sure why did I have those emotions.
Like you said no shame you get blank then change up a few things and try again later down the road

I think the number one reason people get blanked is for lying. These people know more about you than you know about yourself. Be honest and own your past mistakes if they come up.

Its honesty first then ties second imho.

Also demonstrate that you can follow simple instructions.I remember for my application somewhere they said to walk with a jacket or something like that…they never said because it was cold or anything like that.I just followed the people’s instructions without question.

Ask the people who got blanked how many of them followed the people’s instructions. You’d be surprised how many of them didn’t.
Coincidence? Maybe, but I wasn’t risking it.

I’m going to stop sounding like Max now

I would never understand the ppl whose bank accounts are always empty and as soon as the appointment comes up they rush to put large sums into it and then vex when they get blanked. Why are you doing that? What is the purpose, is it to prove that you capable of laundering money because that is how it appears.

Plus your bank statement is supposed to show at least 6 months of activity IIRC

Nothing from the Embassy as yet!!!

The only positive is we got my son's passport on Tuesday. We applied for it in July.
So either I go to the US with my son without the wife or we do a Caribbean, Central vacation for the remainder of the holidays.

I already resigned myself to not going anywhere and ended up getting some shoes I needed locally.

Just my experience.

Did my visa renewal via mail in December 2021 no hassel. Took about 3 weeks (12 working days) for the whole process

Wife also did the same with my daughter, but only she was successful. Daughter needed an interview so they returned her documents.
Daughters interview was Aug 10th and they were in and out in 15 min.
Received the DHL notification to collect her passport monday night which was impressive.

Just hope the collection is easy...
