If you really wanna build something check out madisound or meniscus audio for their speaker kits

If you try to build by mix and matching you can look at parts express but crossover design will be the most complicated thing and almost all parts will have to be imported

As for amps...I suggest joining those hifi/ht facebook groups as they usually have some pretty decent deals on gear ever so often

Streamline didn’t do the system, they supplied most of the equipment used.

Yeah...buh the system you show him there is not HiFi...that's Home Theater ??

It’s a bit of both.

I use the pure direct mode on my receiver to listen to 2 channel audio streaming on Apple Music.

Change it back to dolby surround/atmos once available for movies.

I’m not fortunate enough to have a dedicated listening room so I have to make do with this rig.

Planning some changes soon, will be sure to share it when completed.

Cool bro... However I being from the old school would put hi-fi on a different spectrum.

I started a hifi thread some time a back. Would bump it when I locate it.

Personally I have two dedicated but independent systems in the same room. One for HT and the other just pure hi-fi.

But I guess once you enjoy it in your space that is all that really matters...

Agreed, Hifi is definitely not how I would describe my system. I enjoy both audio and visual and the system is very nice when entertaining friends as I can have music videos running off YouTube in the background. You tube is 2 channel audio so I use Stereo for everything except movies.

I never collected much CD's so i'm limited to streaming music. I designed my system around that and having limitless high quality tracks and albums at my finger tip with Apple Music was a no brainer for me.

Would really like to compare my system to your HiFi rig to hear the difference if you ever up to it. Trying to merge HT & HiFi is a challenge and can be quite frustrating, been at it a few years now and still looking for a sound I might never find.

Any guidance from experienced people is always welcomed!

same principles apply wrt acoustics - car / house....advantage being for house you have more room (hopefully)...

Start with best 2 channel and grow system eventually imo....

Got this recently, sounds good enough for my small room, plus the rear speakers can unplug and set behind for more immersive surround, not bad!

This has been on my wish list for a while and looking to get it for master bedroom.

Did you skybox or seabox? What were the final freight/skybox charges for the setup landed?

Also, can you tell me the exact length of the soundbar with the two satellites connected?
