On Tuesday Morning I was making my way home and a drunk driver broke a traffic light and hit me sending me over a median placing a great deal of damage to my car.
Firstly the driver of the next car is a police officer and at the scene of the accident was unable to provide me with any insurance or his drivers permit. I was able to get the drivers permit from the officer who was dealing with the matter but up to now I have not been able to get his insurance to make a claim since I am currently third party......
What recourse or action do you all suggest i take to have this issue sorted out as I am currently with out a vehicle and the officer seems like he is trying to get away after more or less writing off my car.
