Price range?

You can currently get Ego at Hadden for about 2500. Personally, Hadden customer service sucks so they won't get a sale from me, but YMMV.

I believe Trintrac sells an Echo blower for around the same price.

Not sure if you can get a Stihl.

Ego tools are highly rated. But give thought to what you are buying as once you buy a cordless, you are buying into a system should you decide to expand your tool base later on.

Have you considered bringing in one? I was looking at a Ego hedge trimmer. If I used Aeropost's service (i.e. copying and pasting the URL on their website to get a landed price) the landed cost was about 300 less than Hadden. Might be worth your consideration.

Bringing one was the first idea, after seeing them ridiculous shipping fees I may as well face the stores here. Its gonna be used only for home use and nothing more so a small one is fine.

I have this one....did what it was supposed to do with no regrets, so anything close to this price range and features...Im game

Just go with seabox and done with something heavy . You will get it about 2 weeks later than the best time with aeropost right now and way cheaper

Bought my second Total tool. This replaces a Hitachi NT50 nailer that gives problems every time I use it, jams, non firing, trigger issues etc. I use a nailer once a year if so much. If I use this 3 times with no trouble it would have been worth it at half the price of the Hitachi.

$450 at the Total store in Chase Village. This time I was looking at price instead of big brand name. This one does automatic bump fire as well as staples so already one up on the Hitachi.

sometimes in nail guns well know brands does conk out too , i had a home depot 18g for 5+yrs , it suddenly cap out & i borrow my bro new porter cable which last nearly 2yrs & it too gone thru , i open up both & similar failure of a plastic bushing inside it - yes i used to add oil as recommenced

YT ppl say its common thing with alot of nail guns brands, most of them more or less is d same inside , part for it wud be a bout us10-12 + s/h .... so i say lemme try a econo harbor freight central pneumatic brand [only us30] , got it a wk ago & havent gotten chance to use it yet

Few hundred nails later and it still works fine, no jams or other issues. They included several Allen keys for the various fasteners, a wide range of inlet ports to suit your hose, including the high flow V type I use on all my tools, 1k nails and 1k staples.

The Total is also less finicky on air pressure and nail depth. Consistent depth over a range of pressure with no additional depth adjustment. This vs the Hitachi which needs readjusting with a 2 psi increase.

What could be better? There is no quick way to remove a jam if it occurs. You have to unscrew parts.

Overall, not bad at all. Will definitely look at Total as a serious contender for home use tools. My initial Total 1/4 sheet sander still going strong too.

Hey 2NRS

Anyone knows if they sell crows foot wrenches locally? I require a 14mm wrench or if anyone is renting a set will also assist my needs.

Urgent help needed, I need to get a hydraulic cylinder repaired for one of my lifts. It started spraying oil this morning. Any recommendations for a mobile person. Can't wait a week as this is my main lift.

Anyone ever dealt with Williams Hydraulic Repairs?

Got through with this person.

Came and picked up the cylinder, repaired and returned it by 11AM this morning. Also moved on time when he told me he would be here. Cost $1k to replace seals, polish and return. Don't know if that's good pricing or not but I'm happy to have it done almost overnight.

These are better for water hoses etc, it allows for expansion and contraction. Worm hose clamps can lead to leaks after time.

You should be able to get that at Trinidad Hose in San Fernando or Imperial Hose in Freeport.

Shopvac went out of business. So parts, bags, filters etc.may not be as widely available.

Perhaps a Craftsman or a Karcher as they are widely available locally (Bhagwansinghs and Hadden respectively).
