When I feel the need to really observe one assshole talking to theirself about their own existential crises (much more than one!), I just log onto tuner and read the New World Order thread. Nothing going on there but a one-person-shit-show of crazy. LOL

I have a stihl BG86 leaf blower if anyone is inteterested

Asking 1800

Literally like new
Used a couple times, but we ended up cutting down the tree that was making the mess, so the blower no longer needed

which? the karcher for 70 USD?

you skybox it in?

Not karcher, have plenty brands available on Amazon, just look for ones with plenty reviews, or if you want the karcher, it's $60 for it, mine was $40 when I buy it in a lightning deal. And I brought it through aeropost, which is not exactly the cheapest

yes i too use their 10" saw blades - really good better than dewalt, majority of my router bits are freud too & also have their orbital sander sandpaper discs

i also have some whiteside router bits , imo good as freud but some claim ws is better, as an alternative to freud saw blades i see some YT woodworkers say CMT Orange is better

check out project farm on YT he tested freud\diablo stuff ...

Anyone has any negative experiences with these models - Echo SRM-22GES/L or Stihl FS55R ?
Main usage will be with savannah grass which can become thick if left for a few weeks.

Both of those are right at (Stihl) or below (Echo) the 1.0 hp mark. I use a Stihl of that size for small areas or trimming around the edges of the yard. It's worked well for years. For mowing tall grass, you will probably want about 1.5 hp or more.

You may want to take a look at Stihl's website and follow their recommendations.

Continental contitech blue hose 5/8".

I ended up buying two 75' lengths. The hose was "made to order" in that they cut the length needed and made up the ends.

They ends are made of very high quality brass, best I have seen for a hose ever. I also bought the quick connect to easily couple the hose to get my 150' length when needed and to connect to the pipe. I've found that over time, constantly screwing and unscrewing these brass ends causes wear and tear and leaks over time. But then that was with the lower quality ends you get on the hardware hoses.

The hose itself is very robust and the best I have ever seen. I am hoping this lasts a long time. Plus Trinidad Hose will repair any damages so that's a good thing.

Total cost was $1,465 for the hose with ends and the quick connect fittings (2 EA).

Kinda steep I know, but given what I have spent on hoses for the last few years, this is well worth it if I can get at least 5 years out of them.

I would definitely recommend.

See pics attached. FYI, Trinidad Hose also does a very high quality pressure washer hose rated to 4000 psi. 75ft was for $750. It's a smooth jacket and not the rough one you get with the machines.

I also passed by Allied. They only have the plastic hose reels which I doubt can handle this hose. I priced their garden hoses as well and 100ft "heavy duty" started at $450. That heavy duty hose was no where near this Trinidad Hose hose so IMO, that justifies the spend.

Wife also was surprised at the cost but then said that it's ok as long as it's spent on those types of "hose". IMG_20210307_103945047.jpegIMG_20210307_104000748.jpegIMG_20210307_104015381.jpegIMG_20210307_104037546.jpegIMG_20210307_104047413.jpegIMG_20210307_104053787.jpeg

ppl still getting ketch with that expanding hose lol

in our sun the uv will eventually damage most of them hose and cause them to kink because they all tend to be made of a non-rubber material which hardens and kinks or doesnt spring back.

the trinidad hose is pretty good, I have a couple of them and several years old, they are a little on heavy side though.

the best hose I have is one somebody gave me, they got it from some industrial place and used for steam injection to heat up coconut oil to melt it down. A black all rubber 1500psi rated hose and light too.
unfortunately they dont get that quality hose again.

I was just going to look back for my post.

Yes. Trinidad Hose for it. Continental hose is great.

It won't kink and is very robust.

Will recommend this anyday.

For me the issue is a good hose nozzle. Bhawansinghs has a brass "Little Big Shot". This is a ball bearing nozzle which compresses on a rubber diaphragm. It works great but with use, the balls dislodge and the nozzle leaks.

I bought a brass nozzle from Trinidad Hose. Worked well for a year and just the other day it binded up.

Which is a good nozzle to go with this fantastic hose?

For a nozzle..I always keep it KISS.
Cheaper brass that has the o ring to replace. The grooves on the brass does wear so I usually scrap it when I buy and Belray Waterproof grease the inside. Apart from a fancy sprayer I bought years ago to try, I have only ever bought like 2 brass nozzles for the last 20 years.

I have one a few years now. Bought in walmart
Good for light use. Obvs can't be dragging and yanking it around, or abrasion will damage the sheath. And I don;t leave it outside. Stored in the tool room
First one I bought got torn easily. This one has a heavier material so lil more tough
Wifey likes it because it's easier to move around, vs my 100 ft industrial 3/4" hose

Aye
Fellaz

Where i can get some good quality (eaton, bussman, cooper, PEC) ATC/ATO fuses locally?

Been looking/feeling some fuses that came with some marine grade distribution block and the quality, material feel is so much superior to the ching-chong spec.
