Main usage will be with savannah grass which can become thick if left for a few weeks.

Continental contitech blue hose 5/8".
I ended up buying two 75' lengths. The hose was "made to order" in that they cut the length needed and made up the ends.
They ends are made of very high quality brass, best I have seen for a hose ever. I also bought the quick connect to easily couple the hose to get my 150' length when needed and to connect to the pipe. I've found that over time, constantly screwing and unscrewing these brass ends causes wear and tear and leaks over time. But then that was with the lower quality ends you get on the hardware hoses.
The hose itself is very robust and the best I have ever seen. I am hoping this lasts a long time. Plus Trinidad Hose will repair any damages so that's a good thing.
Total cost was $1,465 for the hose with ends and the quick connect fittings (2 EA).
Kinda steep I know, but given what I have spent on hoses for the last few years, this is well worth it if I can get at least 5 years out of them.
I would definitely recommend.
See pics attached. FYI, Trinidad Hose also does a very high quality pressure washer hose rated to 4000 psi. 75ft was for $750. It's a smooth jacket and not the rough one you get with the machines.
I also passed by Allied. They only have the plastic hose reels which I doubt can handle this hose. I priced their garden hoses as well and 100ft "heavy duty" started at $450. That heavy duty hose was no where near this Trinidad Hose hose so IMO, that justifies the spend.
Wife also was surprised at the cost but then said that it's ok as long as it's spent on those types of "hose". IMG_20210307_103945047.jpegIMG_20210307_104000748.jpegIMG_20210307_104015381.jpegIMG_20210307_104037546.jpegIMG_20210307_104047413.jpegIMG_20210307_104053787.jpeg

in our sun the uv will eventually damage most of them hose and cause them to kink because they all tend to be made of a non-rubber material which hardens and kinks or doesnt spring back.
the trinidad hose is pretty good, I have a couple of them and several years old, they are a little on heavy side though.
the best hose I have is one somebody gave me, they got it from some industrial place and used for steam injection to heat up coconut oil to melt it down. A black all rubber 1500psi rated hose and light too.
unfortunately they dont get that quality hose again.
