90s really was the best of the best for dancehall imo...almost every riddim was a hit maker for any artist jumping on, of course people used to still attempt with the lyrics then...

So true...beyond the 90's the only riddims to stand out above all the rest:

Drop Leaf
Divali
Dreamweaver
Kopa

In that order...other than that, it's just---->aight :/

During the 90's dancehall actually sounded like dancehall, it was totally distinct and actually inventive. 80's was the perfect build up to the pinnacle too. 90's saw so many riddims that blew up, the number of artists that were mentionable was 3 times nowadays.

The main demographic this will hit will be those who were in their mid-teens to the mid 20's.

AKA the "Smelling Yuh Self" Phase :lol:

Back then I think he was driving ah lime green bluebird wagon. They were powered by a new Zeus (white) we got from the speaker repair fellas next to Marios Pizza in Woodbrook. Memories dey boy

The Pioneers regularly got this chune.
