^ i use my ps4 controller. my advice is to launch all your games through steam and then set steam to be able to read your controller. the two videos provided will help u to do so

not for me. i have a gaming desktop though. and i hate to be that person. but they always say if u going to do gaming on pc go through a desktop not a laptop as desktops are more powerful. so idk if the games u running too powerful for the graphics card and as such u getting lag or your harddrive too full so you getting lag or your ram too low so you getting lag or the game requires too much cpu resources soo you getting lag. the most lag i ever get is when i playing online games and flow in there mc playing up and my net causes my game to lag. thats the only times. and that happens rarely.

What game/s are you trying to play and what are the specs on your particular nitro 5 laptop

Input lag can occur... But at the same time it could be that the game requires more resources than your machine currently has, and it takes time to "render" the input. Can probably be checked by setting a lower resolution and reducing details and observing if what you consider lag is reduced

I currently use a wireless logitech rumble pad; probably not good for input lag but my games don't require that level of response

I find 8gb is minimum for gaming these days...
If you on win10, open taskmanager and play for a while. Then tab out and check your ram usage in taskmanager.
Easiest way to see bottlenecks

8 is okay, max i ever saw was 10gb in a game. i have a 16gb kit in my gaming pc, 8gb in my ryzen laptop. 3200u aspire 5.

i added some parts to a machine i bought on the forum

HP prodesk 400MT
4590(4 cores 4threads) 3.7ghz
4gb ram( already sourced a 8gb stick for 250$)
500gb HDD
250gb samsung evo 840
cd drive.
1050ti zotac mini
300w psu stock.
tp link pcie 8x wifi card.

works really good, paid small money for it, already had the ssd and the gpu, adding the ram sometime soon, works really good, a ssd really wakes up these older machines with hdds, i ran it before with the hdd for a lil while.
overall would recommended, will post some benchmarks soon, i play only fortnite and division 2, should work great.

selling my 2200g a320 16gb second pc and replacing it with the HP. fully satisfied

That’s called stealing and it is a chargeable offense eah

You should make a report and have him arrested

Not all I.T guys are bad guys!

I give back my clients all their old parts regardless if it good or not .

If i upgrade ram for a customer and the old ram is good and I know someone else can use or I can resell I make an offer to buy it -

Usually I make it a habit not to buy used ram .... but sometimes you come across quality sticks ...

b450M msi
1600x
deepcooler gammamax 400
vivo mid tower.
120gb corsair force NVME
2tb HDD.
strix rx580 8gb
16gb 3000mhz ram. corsair
450w evga non modular.
5 120mm fans

On My shelf
550w B3 fully modular evga
noctua D15
5 120mm fans
Wrath Prism rgb.
16gb 3200mhz corsair
So basically im looking to maybe swap my case over sell some stuff and upgrade.
Im thinking about changing out the 1600x for a 3600 along with the wrath prism, prb sell the noctua, the 450w psu, all the extra fans and keep the fastest speed ram, or prob sell all and go with something rgb like a gskill ram and keep the case? dropping 1k just for a big ass cooler that i dont need, 65w tdp/100w tdp cooling easy. what would u do?

Trying to land a 10900k (or 11900k) and board along with a 1TB 980PRO m.2 and possibly a 3080.

Trying to figure out if there are any taxes (custom duties, OPT & VAT) to be applied to this.

Thanks in advance.

Use the inbound shipping calculator here for Web Source. It should be around the same amount you would have to spend at other courier companies.

https://shipwebsource.com/customs.php

Here's another inbound shipping calculator for EZone as well.

No taxes on the parts you are going to order, I paid $456.50 to clear my 3090 back in January. This was with e-Zone

Breakout

Freight - 154.00
Insurance - 262.50
Commercial - 40.00 (this may not be applicable to you)

Description: Game port

Inbound port (the port or port rage your want to open)

Format: TCP or UDP (if unsure select both)

Private IP addresss: the Address of the computer you playing the game on (this should be set as static on the machine)

Local port: the port should match the above (for simplicity)

I am assuming this is your gateway and controls the routing of your network right?

ie: modem/Router (device you entering the settings) > LAN
