@ryan99tt tell me something.....you seem to be in the know. are doves open season in trinidad and tobago? you see i know that they fall into the pigeon family and they are associated with the game species of the ramier.....but i am not certain of the common ground dove.

now i know many tuners wouldnt like me for this eh.... but hear this;

these doves building their nests on the eve of my house for years and now and the purlins have rotted out where their nests were. ok....ok.

now that i have changed the purlins i dont want them back there....i cant spend another 15k to fix roof after their nitric acid and amonia compound faeces sihtup my roof.

can these doves be qualified as pests....and hence be treated as such.

and for the humanitarian in us.....what is my other option?

Usually if u just remove the nest as they start building they go away...is trini police u dealing wit eh so even if they fall under pests they will hav a problem...but u can shoot dem out once it on your property...

really....dont wait till season open....most stores pre sell their units so when you look to buy one it is usually the lower end ones are available.

if i may suggest go with the benjamins. here are a few shots to prove the accuracy and power of the npxl. the targets are at 20 yards. the button is from a trouser for you estimation and the backboard is half inch white pine. that is power....i had gamos and not impressed as performance on the extreme begins to diminish after about 2 tins.... the nitro piston can give about 20 tins no sweat.

where did you get that heavy pellet. i looked around but the heaviest i got was the HN silver point which is at 11.57grains. however!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have found the HN barracuda at 10.65grains to be the most accurate with my gun. so i have settled on the barracuda for all my needs........... regardless of criticisms.

Wonder what's coming with the Forest Authority. Anyone read the Draft of the Forest and Protected Areas Policy to see what they have in store for hunting?

"Ideally" you require a special license to kill the doves.

Any creature not specified in the second or third schedule of the wildlife act is considered "protected".
