No scene, will get the pic off the pc later.

Door over 12yrs old, not dinky or falling apart...was about to replace because of the years of unattended waterstains on the aluminium. Was thinking of doing it in pvc/vinyl when I thought of bay window. Have a back door by my mums I was thinking of doing the bay window idea first, but she say it will be a waste of $$ as she downstairs most of the day

Whenever people not from south ask me if anands really have low prices, they are very shocked to hear my response is the opposite of what the advertisements claim.

God forbid you have to go to their grocery to pick up coffee or something after leaving the gym. Madness, it was like 105$ for a bottle of nescafe gold when everybody else was still 95.

Basically impose regulations, taxes and other cost adders on cement that is not from Claxton Bay. This then forces the competition to market their product at a much higher cost than the other brand.

Ergo - price of the competition is not competitive and it's therefore taken off the market. Monopoly therefore remains with the brand from Claxton.

Good morning, looking for some recommendations for a little problem I have here.
The retaining wall which was plastered has some powdering issues. There are weep holes to the bottom, but the powdering which I assume is from some seepage happens in the middle.
Are there any treatments that I can apply to the wall so that the mortar and paint wont powder and flake like that?
Thanks

Berger penetrating liquid is specifically made for powdering on mortar/concrete surfaces.

Hello.

I'd like some recommendations.

I had a fish pond built last year. Concrete blocks with a cap on the top.

On the raw concrete I applied some Berger penetrating liquid. Then a coat of Berger contractor primer. I had some Sherwin Williams exterior latex paint used as the final coating.

The paint bubbles and can be peeled off especially when it's wet after a rainfall such as what's happening now. Everything comes off, including the primer, to expose the concrete below. I have attached a few pictures. In the last picture, you can actually see the bubbling of the paint.

Any recommendations on what can be done to ensure proper bonding of paint, paint type or perhaps something else in lieu of paint?

Try cleaning the surface and using the Berger grip & seal instead as the base coat and then apply your paint ontop.

that is the most common issue with them bm latex paint
moisture bubbling up behind

no paint will ever work there
get a concrete dye and concrete topping finish
check creteart
that is their speciality

I was really thinking that no paint would work.

I was really evaluating whether some stone or slate would be needed to cover it all off due to lack of bonding with paint.

apologies if this is a stupid question - Cooking gas tanks - can they be stored in a cupboard next to the stove?

I dont see why not, if its a second backup cylinder that isnt in use it poses no issue.

Even if a cylinder in use, lots of people put the tank in a ground level cupboard next to the stove. Is just to remember to switch off the tank properly after use.
