HDC House

My friend has an uncle whom he says owns an HDC house and can sell it to me. Is this legit in that can an HDC house be sold to another person and all documents transferred to them. And if this is possible, will a bank give you finances to buy this house.

once the original owns the house for 5 or more years it can be sold
