Something has to be done to steer the less fortunate youth away from crime. While the rest of society sits in their high chairs looking down on them, laughing, those youth will be plotting to rob and kill those who scorn them.

regardless of where a child comes from, it takes a village to raise a child

our entire society needs to pitch in

Kill dem dead dey feel this is jamaica

I glad police doh hesitate to put slugs in dem

Police putting slugs in them is just perpetuating the cycle, like the young man said in the video "is war". You think their thoughts about death is the same as ours? They do not fear it, they have already accepted that their lives will end prematurely, but before they go they will surely be taking at least ten of us with them. Who is winning this war? I think its them. And the end to this madness will only come when "regular" society understands that they are their responsibility also.

Now I not saying police should put their guns down. Bussing shots behind some of them is their job but police cant kill them all. That is not the solution and the solution cannot only be one thing.

Watching that film makes me think of this movie "Ciudad de Deus".

based on a true story about growing up in the Ghetto of Brazil.

Guess what regular society did?...sacrificed, saved money, ban they belly...send they chiren to SCHOOL....chiren became educated and moved on in life.

These swines did the exact opposite. It's amazing how many of them claim dey poor n suffering yet rocking de latest phones and brand name clothing/shoes.
