Merry Christmas fellas!!!
Sooo i'm starting back my RC project...again....other stuff got in the way...PC etc

My TT01R came stock with 61/19 gearing...but the motor I have is the CC Sidewinder 3 5700kV brushless motor...haven't installed it yet...still waiting on the battery(2s lipo) and the metal motor mount to arrive.

From your experiences...what would be some good gearing options???
3racing sells pinions from 17-23t.
With the kit I got 55/58T spur gears also

I'll start off with the stock gearing(3.21:1) to see how temps/acceleration/top speed are then gear accordingly. Looking for a good balance between top speed/acceleration

Can anyone indicate if there are any places locally that sell a 2.7GHz radio control transmitter for those generic toy radio control cars? I am looking for one with the two small joysticks that have left and right and forward and backwards controls.

I called Island Hobbies but the cost of their transmitter seems to be more for those professional type R/C cars.

Thanks.
