Repair Aston Martin

Postby Chill_Factor » August 6th, 2011, 7:44 pm

Hello, I'm a rich millionaire who is looking to buy an Aston...

Anyway, on a serious note... clearly some people bring in exotic cars into Trinidad, but what I'd like to know is... how do they get them serviced? Is it that they personally know a mechanic who has the knowledge about those sorts of cars or do they have to request that a team come from a branch out of the US or Europe to come in to service those types of cars?

usually an authorised factory technician is flown in, to do the diagnostic & service work.you don,t want to void the warranty 8-) .

Its good to be back man. Still outraged by triad's :skurred: decision, but triad :skurred: only did what he thought was best. :(

fellas fly in guys to tune their street car or fly in an entire team from the UK to work on rally cars in T&T - so it's not far fetched for someone who owns and Aston, Maserati, Bentley or Ferrari to fly in someone to service their car

y u tink dais a hard thing to service a aston, its simple, every 15000 miles, use 5 quarts of redline 20w50 and an extended mileage fram filter from d peugeot 406 dem, also a sakura air filter from d hilux dem does matchup real good once u use some silicone to stop the wiggling. But d real trouble is you have to use heat range 4 ngk's irridums cause 5 or higher does cause the boost to spike by 7 psi and ting.

so simple.

the number of exotic cars increasing on the road, i wudnt be surprised if a foreign company opens a business here to service them.

^^^What he said. The warranty is transferred to South America so the technician who is flown in is from South America. He is versed in the European vehicles so usually more than 1 vehicle would be serviced at a given time. Cost effective this way...

lol

i doubt dem 10 year old aston and ferrari still have warranty

typical obd diagnostic machines dont work for all cars most of the exotics and high end cars need factory trained mechs

i feel you will see lots of those cars selling soon when the owners realize the real cost of maintenance

Depends what has to be repaired and what model it is. What condition is it in?
