that was easy to predict. You all check out the batting averages of the batsmen?

Not even the test averages eh, the FC averages.

bluefete wrote:So I putting these here - especially dogg - because he has been spot on before.

WI - faced 3 balls before lunch and are 0/1 - Skipper Brathwaite is out for duck.

Next few hours will be reeaaalll good - either for SA or the WI.

trinigamer wrote:Meanwhile, SA 314/8. Fairly even days play, given that SA was running away with the first innings.

Even you say?
You realise this is the West Indies playing right?

Any score over 250 is a mountain for them!
I'll be shocked if they make 200 in either innings.

Deadric wrote:So WI has 2.5 days to chase down a target of 247 runs.

Surely they can't mess this up.

South Africa on course for a 350 -400 runs, on the opening day of the 2nd test - unless WI can pull them back.

WI pulled it back a bit: SA 311/7 at close of the 1st day.

This time WI will lose by an innings for sure instead of just 87 runs. Motie took 3 wickets already the most out of any of the bowlers, now just imagine what Maharaj will do to the WI batsmen who already are terrible against even average spin bowlers.

I love WI approach to test cricket though. You work for 3 days but get paid for 5 days. Clearly these fellas just on the team to collect a salary at the end of the month.

I think its without a doubt WI has the worse middle order in Test cricket.

A rare flash in the pan performance by a lower order batsman does not make WI ongoing woes go away.

WI improving... they make it to day 4 of a test ... loosing on day 4 instead day 3 is still an improvement.

South Africa middle order almost as suspect as WI.
With that said I wouldn't have any money on WI batting on a day 4/5 Bullring pitch and chasing a 350+ target. But one can hope!!

Yup. WI well on their way to getting a serious cut-arse from South Africa.

25-3 chasing 391.

Edit #1- 26/4

Dem fellas feel the plane will takeoff without them so they hustling to lose.

Edit # flicking 2 - 26/5.

De plane waiting for takeoff today.

Absolutely brainless cricket. And it is not even lunchtime yet.

Edit # %%$$##&&** 3 - 34/6

New Zealand v Sri Lanka - WOW!

Even a movie could not have scripted a better ending.

NZ won by 2 wickets off the very last ball of the test match.

Pretty decent effort with the bat from the windies. Not sure if they could contain SA though

SA should roll over this score in less than 40 overs. WI bowling in 50 overs has been the worse I've ever seen from any team including the associates.
