At least a 2-1 defeat better than a 3-0 defeat. Allya lucky we manage to win 1 which is a miracle in and of itself.

He's annoyed at the fielding it seems. He might be justified if his bowling was any better

Not looking good for WI here...will become a cruise the deeper NZ bat with wickets in hand.

Allya still believe that WI could win this game?

If so I have a bridge to sell you.

I knew WI will lose once 2 of our batsmen make 105 and 91 on this pitch, a No. 9 ranked team batsmen did that what do you expect a No. 1 ranked team batsmen gonna do on the same pitch?

Who taking the CPL this year? Royals and St. Lucia Kings looking good so far. TKR miles off it even with the addition of Pooran and Russell.

Lemme know when Waste Indies players start beating up international teams and players rather than beating up themselves in domestic competitions. Until then not watching no shitty domestic competition.

Cariah in place of Hayden Walsh Jr. Probably because in his outing so far in the last ODI series against NZ he did pretty well with the ball compared to Walsh, he can also bat as well too as he's an all rounder. I'm glad they didn't pick the senior players like Russel, them fellas does only make themselves available for WI duties when a big tournament is around the corner then all year round travel the world playing T20 leagues and not making themselves available for WI duties for some reason or the other.

We've also used senior players in the last T20 world cup and we barely able to win a match. Time to move onto to something new and different.

TKR is looking like such a spent force the win last night not withstanding.
Squad has an old and tired look to it.
Rampaul has been very expensive in almost all the games, Russell has been oridnary and Tion Webster has failed to give them any consistency at the top.

Mediocrity of the the CPL aside, had some top T20 cricket this morning...India chased 187 brilliantly v Aus and Pakistan level the series in a thriller v England

This thread hasn't discussed the run out in the last WODI between England and India?
Many an English butts were hurt including Piers Morgan, Michael Vaughan etc.
What we know as a Mankad but it should just be known as runout cuz thats what it is.

Image

Charlotte Dean basically 2 metres out the crease before the bowler even released the ball and still found it fit to cry after the game. The English are some of the biggest cheats in world cricket but finds it necessary to kick a fuss on an actual law of the game.

White people again. The same beat up Stephen Fleming came with a few years ago. Imagine you can be stumped for being millimeters out of your crease, but non strikers running up to strikers face, without consequence. Even baseball have outs for being caught off base.

That dismissal causing quite a stir in the cricket world(mainly amongst the English). It's the law, very simple...I'm pretty sure ICC would be looking to review that law soon.

The England women's team has a player that despite knowing there are multiple TV cameras during a game claimed a catch last year that fell out her hand and she picked it up and then appealed.
Their keeper Amy Jones who is also their captain btw.
https://www.news18.com/cricketnext/news ... 33877.html

Nary a peep was heard about something blatantly in the realm of cheating but an actual law they beat up on.
Colonizer doesn't liked when the colonized beat them.

Guyana looked so hapless last night in those final few overs when they were taken to the cleaners by Brooks and Wasim. Actually just hoped for Jamaica's innings to be completed to save GAW further embarrassment.

Pollard could be an arse sometimes but one thing he knew was how to be a captain. Hetmeyer looked out of depth repeatedly throughout this CPL and only even poorer cricket by other teams allowed them to reach as far.

What was comical about the run=out was how far down the pitch Ms Dean was and the Indian bowler (to me at least) looked confused about what was happening before she removed the bails.
A non striker backing up like Ms Dean did would have been way pass the point of 'no return'.
To make matters worse the non striker didn't even have 1/2 an eye on the bowler and therefor couldn't make any real effort to return to the crease.
