I wonder if you can break the contract? If I was visiting Trinidad for a few days, buy one on the plan and give them back the phone when I am done. 150 to rent the phone for a month = good bargain IMO.

That's how I was gonna buy one anyway. 18% interest is just slightly better than my credit card interest

And I woulda just paid it off in full before in incurred interest anyway.
