WTK: Opening a Bank Account in US

Is there any way for a Trinidadian to open a Bank Account in the US without being present?

Do any US Banks open accounts for Non Residents of USA?

i know Chase Bank does

you can open one as an international business,not sure about personal

but registering a business is simple busines..no pun intended :lol:

Try HSBC or Suntrust...you can apply online.

You can open one with bank of america but i'm not sure if u need to be present

^^When I signed up with Bank of America as a joint account holder with my bro and sis - they wanted a SSN. But they ended up somehow using my passport number instead. I had to sign a couple documents, I think.
