well it's all fun but WRT the recoil: those r/c flying machines use gyros and they are pretty good at keeping them stable, so the recoil should affect it too much

Fake!

An electric machine that size in that particular configuration cannot carry a machine gun, ammo, lipos, rc equipment and still be that nimble.

I could go on and on and on about how you would have to strengthen the airframe to carry such payload as well as to survive the recoil thus adding even more weight.

Actuating rotor pod would actually decrease how nimble this machine is. Most quadrotor designs electronically vary the torque from motor to motor to hold position as well as to move around This is way more responsive and precise than waiting for a servo to actuate a rotor pod.

Servos have very narrow range of motion when compared to a system that varies the torque of each motor.

Using actuating pods add unnecessary mechanical complexity to the system especially if it was designed to be a weapons platform.
