I heard the bandit had a gun and he tried to wrestle it from him, he wasnt successful and the bandit tied him up, but when the bandit went upstairs by his wife he was able to escape and call the police. They came quickly but the bandit was long gone already.

I respect the man, after ppl berated the man, blame him for crime and murder and he continually tried to resign, he is now being vindicated. Love him or hate him, he is the only Min. of Nat. Security that had a considerable drop in crime during his tenure for the last 12 years.

too many people assume they live on the "right" side of the divide in
their fancy cars, gated communities, status as big business/politics and licensed firearms

whilst the middle class and everybody else have to ketch tail

Trinidad is a small place and bandits have easy access to everybody at their mercy

Jamaica is a different place, it is easier for law abiding people to stay relatively separated from bandits and furthermore every bandit knows that they liable to get return fire if they go sticking up people
